Kate Foreman is a special counsel in Cadwalader’s Capital Markets Group focused on commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) transactions. She represents issuers, underwriters and loan sellers in a variety of public and private CMBS transactions and has represented placement agents in connection with re-securitization transactions. Her experience includes preparing registration statements for new public issuers and other regulatory issues associated with CMBS transactions, including the preparation of public transaction periodic reporting filings and engaging in extensive discussions with the SEC on related issues.
Kate has been part of multiple industry panels and, in 2022, she was recognized among CREFC’s inaugural “20 Under 40” list, which features the “future leaders of the commercial real estate finance industry.”
She received her J.D. from University of Chicago Law School and a B.A. from Northwestern University. Kate is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
