Sustainability

Cadwalader's business strategy takes into account the environmental impact of our business practices.  We have undertaken numerous broad-based initiatives to become more environmentally conscious in all of our locations and in all of our functional areas, including facilities, dining services, and information technology, and examine and rework our practices in cooperation with our vendors, clients, and neighbors. We have also asked our personnel to find ways to “green” our offices by making simple changes to the way that we approach our office supplies, recycling, equipment use, meetings, and other day-to-day workplace activities.

In support of these efforts, the firm became a member of the Law Firm Sustainability Network, a group of law firms that network, share experiences, and develop common environmental sustainability guidelines for the legal industry.

We believe that improving the firm’s impact on the environment will come from the collective efforts of our personnel in thinking about the effects of our actions and taking steps to preserve resources.
