Hunter White advises financial institutions, fund managers, private equity sponsors and corporate borrowers on complex corporate, finance and structured finance transactions, with a particular focus on securitization across a range of asset classes. His securitization projects include consumer loan asset-backed securitizations, GSE-sponsored residential mortgage-backed securitizations and student loan securitizations.
He regularly advises commercial banks, investment banks, credit unions, government-sponsored enterprises (GSEs), hedge fund and private equity managers, and corporate issuers on the structuring and execution of financings. Hunter has significant experience guiding first-time issuers through the establishment of securitization programs, from initial feasibility analysis through to first issuance and ongoing program development. Hunter regularly represents private equity sponsors and lenders in connection with asset purchase transactions and related back-leverage financing facilities.
Hunter also advises on the structuring, formation and operation of alternative investment products, including hedge funds and private equity funds, acting for investment advisers, fund sponsors, originators establishing captive financing vehicles and investors. He has further experience advising on large-scale regulatory change initiatives, including LIBOR transition projects.
