Eunji Jo is an associate in Cadwalader’s Finance Group. Her practice is focused on real estate finance. She represents financial institutions in connection with the origination of mortgage loans secured by various types of properties, including office, retail, multi-family, industrial and hotel. Eunji also represents lenders in connection with mezzanine financing and leverage financing. She advises clients on loan servicing, loan workouts, and the sale of mortgage loans, mezzanine loans and participation interests. At Cadwalader, Eunji is an active member of the Women’s Leadership Initiative, serves as an associate mentor and participates in the firm’s recruiting efforts.
In 2022, Eunji was recognized in the Commercial Observer’s “Young Professionals” issue as a “Debt and Equity” honoree. She was included in the 2024 and 2025 editions of the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America for her work in Real Estate Law. Eunji was also named to CREFC’s 2025 class of distinguished “20 Under 40” professionals who have positively impacted the commercial real estate finance industry.
Eunji received her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Alabama School of Law, where she was an Articles Editor of the Alabama Law Review. She received her B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Vanderbilt University. Eunji is admitted to practice in the State of North Carolina.
