Cadwalader partner Andro Atlaga and associate Val Merkaj have been shortlisted for the 2025 CEE Deal of the Year Awards for their work on the Fortenova EUR 550 million refinancing.

The CEE Deals of the Year Awards, launched in 2017, recognize the largest and most significant transactions across Central and Eastern Europe. Submissions are evaluated by two independent panels of senior partners and general counsel based on complexity, size and market significance.

Winners will be announced live at the CEE Deal of the Year Awards Gala Dinner on May 27, 2026.
