Despite being a team in its infancy, Cadwalader’s London Leveraged Finance & Private Credit practice has made a fast impression in the market, according to the 2025 9fin private credit law firm league tables, published February 10.
Our team ranked second as European lender counsel for the second half of 2025, with 15 lender-side mandates cited. Cadwalader also cracked the top 10 in a range of other categories, including total U.S.-European deals (#10 overall), #8 in total lender counsel U.S.-European deals, #7 in total European deals and #4 for second-half total European deals.

These results reflect the phenomenal efforts of our London practice, including a remarkable pace of deal activity during the second half of 2025, closing multiple deals for some of the most active European private credit funds.
