Michael Glenn represents plaintiffs and defendants in complex commercial litigation and crisis management matters across state and federal courts, covering securities fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, corporate governance disputes, intellectual property, shareholder derivative actions, and M&A litigation.
His practice spans all stages of litigation from pre-suit investigation through trial and appeal, and includes leading internal investigations for publicly-traded companies and advising boards, special committees, and investors on corporate governance matters including takeover defense and contests for corporate control.
Before joining Cadwalader, Michael served as a law clerk to the Honorable Leslie H. Southwick of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and the Honorable K. Michael Moore of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and as a litigation associate at Kirkland & Ellis and two other leading international law firms.
Michael also served eight years as an active duty U.S. Army officer, including two combat deployments during Operation Iraqi Freedom, and his military decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Parachutist Badge. Michael has extensive pro bono experience including federal habeas proceedings and asylum proceedings.
