Kevin Sholette is a partner in Cadwalader's Charlotte office. His practice is concentrated in the area of real estate finance and securitization. Kevin represents a wide range of financial institutions in connection with the origination of mortgage loans secured by all asset types, including commercial office buildings, malls and other retail properties, hotels, warehouses and industrial properties, multifamily and student housing, data centers, including complex multi-state, multi-property pooled transactions intended for balance sheet, syndication and/or CMBS executions. He also represents lenders in the origination of mezzanine loans, the servicing, syndication, purchase, and sale of mortgage and mezzanine loans, and repurchase facilities, and on workouts, dispositions, and the foreclosure of distressed loans.
Kevin was named to Lawdragon’s inaugural “Leading Global Real Estate Lawyers” guide and the “2025 Lawdragon Leading Real Estate Lawyers”.
Kevin received his undergraduate degree from Ithaca College, and his J.D. from Cornell Law School, cum laude, where he was an editor of the Journal of Law and Public Policy and the Legal Information Institute's Supreme Court Bulletin. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the State of North Carolina.
