Jayshree Balakrishnan is an associate in Cadwalader's Global Litigation Group. She represents clients in a variety of matters, including internal investigations, civil litigation and arbitration, and commercial disputes in state and federal court. She also has specialized knowledge in ESG and corporate governance issues.
Jayshree received her J.D., cum laude, from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law where she was Chief Notes Editor of the Washington University Law Review and a teaching fellow for the Marshall Brennan Constitutional Literacy Program. She gained hands-on experience as a student attorney in the First Amendment Clinic and through internships at the United States District Court, Southern District of New York and the SEC. Jayshree earned her B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis. She is admitted to practice in New York.
