Jared advises financial institutions, institutional investors, corporations and directors on complex commercial and securities litigation matters. He supports clients in managing high-stakes disputes across a range of industries, including financial services, pharmaceuticals, real estate and technology.

His practice includes securities and shareholder litigation, M&A disputes, shareholder activism matters, breach of fiduciary duty claims and internal investigations, as well as complex contractual disputes and litigation involving financial instruments and structured products. He works with clients across all stages of litigation, from strategy and discovery through to trial and resolution.

Jared brings extensive experience in large-scale and multi-faceted disputes, providing commercially focused and strategic advice in complex and evolving litigation environments.

Jared is also actively involved in diversity, inclusion and pro bono initiatives, including as former chair and current partner sponsor of the firm’s LGBTQ Network, where he has led initiatives such as transgender name change clinics delivered in collaboration with clients and non-profit organizations.

  • Advising Salix Pharmaceuticals in a securities fraud class action alleging channel stuffing and misrepresentation of pharmaceutical inventory levels.

  • Advising a monoline insurer in fraud and breach of contract claims against Residential Funding Company over multi-billion dollar RMBS policies, and in RFC’s Chapter 11 proceedings.
  • Advising Walkers Fund Services and outside directors of the Bear Stearns High Grade Structured Credit Strategies Funds in multi-billion dollar SDNY litigation.
