Cadwalader lawyers Adam Magid and Patrick O'Keefe were honored as recipients of 2018 Pro Bono Publico Awards for outstanding service to The Legal Aid Society and its clients at a ceremony held at the Prince George Ballroom in New York.

Magid, a special counsel in Cadwalader’s Global Litigation Group, represented a New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) resident, defending her in termination of tenancy proceedings.

O'Keefe, an associate in the firm’s Capital Markets Group, represented two NYCHA Section 8 recipients in termination of tenancy proceedings.

Each year, The Legal Aid Society recognizes the outstanding work of volunteer lawyers, law firms, corporations and other professionals who participate in the pro bono program by providing exceptional legal services.
