Cadwalader Represents New York REIT, Inc. in $41 Million Sale of Viceroy Hotel

Cadwalader represented New York REIT, Inc. in the $41 million sale of the Viceroy Hotel, a boutique hotel located at 120 West 57th Street in Manhattan.

The firm has advised New York REIT in several other property sales as part of its liquidation plan, including the sales of 50 Varick Street, 245 West 17th Street, 218 West 18th Street, 229 West 36th Street, 256 West 38th Street, 1440 Broadway, 333 West 34th Street, 306 East 61st Street, commercial space located at 350 Bleecker Street, 367 and 369 Bleecker Street, 382-384 Bleecker Street and 387 Bleecker Street, and 1100 Kings Highway. With the sale of the Viceroy Hotel, New York REIT has sold all of its properties except for its remaining 50.1 percent interest in Worldwide Plaza, a mixed-use building located on Eighth Avenue between 49th and 50th Streets in Manhattan.
