Cadwalader Advises Nearwater Capital on Commercial-Paper Conduit

Cadwalader advised Nearwater Capital on a novel commercial-paper conduit. Called Columbia Funding, the conduit will start selling securities with P-1/A-1 ratings from Moody’s and S&P in July.

Nearwater Capital is a specialty finance company that is focused on providing asset-based financing solutions. The NY-based firm’s business is segmented into two core business lines: risk retention solutions and liquid markets.
