Winne Kloo is an associate in the Corporate Group of Cadwalader’s New York office. Her practice is concentrated in the area of corporate law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, corporate finance, securities law and shareholder activism and defense. Winne represents clients in a wide range of complex transactional matters, including public and private mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, proxy contests, tender offers, spinoffs and joint ventures.
Winne received her J.D. from The University of Michigan Law School, where she was an Associate Editor for the Michigan Journal of Gender and Law and a judicial intern at the New York State Supreme Court, Commercial Division. Before law school, Winne earned her B.A. in English and American Literature with a minor in Politics from New York University. She is admitted to practice in New York.
