Tyler Carson is a senior attorney in Cadwalader's New York office. His practice is concentrated in the area of corporate law, advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and capital markets transactions. Tyler represents both public and private companies, financial sponsors and investment managers regarding public and private mergers, acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, leveraged buyouts, tender offers and other corporate transactions. Prior to joining Cadwalader, Tyler was an associate at Latham & Watkins in Washington, D.C., and at Davis Polk & Wardwell, both in Paris and New York City. He has also been a consultant at Axiom. 

Tyler received his B.A. in Economics from Yale University, where he was a member of the Yale Political Union, and his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. He is admitted to practice law in the New York State. Prior to attending law school, Tyler worked at an e-commerce startup company and served as a member of Peace Corps’ Small Enterprise Development program in Senegal, focusing on microfinance.
