Susan McCarter is a senior attorney in the Capital Markets Group. Susan represents institutional lenders, financial institutions, underwriters, banks, public and private borrowers and insurance companies, in various types of structured finance transactions, including, but not limited to, secured credit facilities, repurchase facilities, portfolio purchases and sales, forward flow arrangements, credit debt financing, and commercial real estate lending transactions. She has supported the financing of various types of financial assets such as commercial mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, and consumer loans.
Prior to joining Cadwalader, Susan was a member of Wells Fargo Bank’s legal department and supported the Corporate Debt Finance and CLO group and the Wealth Investment Management Lending group. She received her J.D. from New York Law School, her LL.M. from New York University School of Law and her B.A. from the University of New Hampshire. She is admitted to practice in the State of North Carolina, the State of New York and the District of Columbia.
