Myong-Ha Lee (pronounced ‘M-young-ha’) is an associate in Cadwalader’s Capital Markets Group. She concentrates her practice on securitizations and structured finance.
Prior to joining Cadwalader, she practiced at law firms in New York City and the Greater Philadelphia area, advising financial institutions, including mezzanine lenders, private equity sponsors, and banks, on structuring and negotiating financing transactions. She also represented companies and entrepreneurs in corporate and commercial matters, including debt financings, corporate governance, and transactions in the manufacturing, technology, healthcare, retail, and business services sectors. Her experience includes syndicated and multi-tiered credit facilities, acquisition and working-capital financings, refinancings, mezzanine financings, restructurings, intercreditor arrangements, and equity co-investments.
In addition, Myong-Ha has held in-house and business roles in the technology and nonprofit sectors, giving her a practical perspective on corporate and commercial transactions, including technology agreements and cross-border matters. She is fluent in Korean and applies her market familiarity to support cross-border deals. With a focus on practical solutions, she works closely with clients to structure transactions that align with their business objectives.
In Philadelphia, she served as co-chair of the Harvard Law School Women’s Alliance (HLSWA), Philadelphia Chapter.
Myong-Ha received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A. in Economics, summa cum laude, from Seoul National University.
