Melissa Solomon is an associate in the Corporate Group in Cadwalader’s New York office. Her practice is concentrated in the area of corporate law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, securities law, corporate finance and corporate governance. Melissa has represented public and private companies and investors in a broad range of complex transactional matters, including public and private mergers, acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, tender offers, corporate formation and restructuring, joint ventures, securities reporting and compliance matters and other corporate transactions.  Prior to joining Cadwalader, Melissa was an associate at Haynes and Boone, LLP, working in that firm’s Capital Markets and Securities Practice Group.

Melissa received her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Certificate in Business and Public Policy from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She received her B.A. from Northwestern University. She is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
