Melina Bheekhun is an associate in the Capital Markets Group in Cadwalader’s London office.
Melina represents arrangers, asset managers and warehouse finance providers on multi-jurisdictional securitisation and structured finance transactions across a variety of asset classes, marketplace lending, CLOs and loan warehouse facilities. Melina was seconded Barclays Bank PLC’s securitised products legal team for nine months and also spent seven months with Credit Suisse’s legal structured finance team.
Prior to joining Cadwalader, Melina was a trainee solicitor at Mayer Brown International LLP, and spent eight months on secondment with BNP Paribas' corporate and investment banking legal department. Melina also has five years’ experience working for the Financial Ombudsman Service undertaking both technical and operation roles during that time.
Melina completed her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law and received a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Honours degree from the University of Westminster.
Melina is admitted to practice in England and Wales.
