James Wudel is an associate in Cadwalader’s Finance and Financial Services groups, with broad experience across multiple financial products and asset classes. James represents lenders, institutional investors, underwriters, borrowers, issuers and other clients in a wide variety of structured finance, derivatives and asset-backed finance transactions.
He focuses primarily on bespoke transactions in the asset-backed securities and lending markets in asset classes including digital infrastructure, music royalties, consumer assets, CLOs, C-PACE, back-leverage of financial assets and SRT/CRT.
James received his J.D. from University of North Carolina School of Law where he was Online Content Editor and Staff Member of the North Carolina Law Review and a member of the Pro Bono Board, and his B.A. from Davidson College. Prior to law school, James worked as a monitoring and evaluation coordinator for an international nonprofit.
