Ranked by Benchmark Litigation as one of the top 250 female litigators in the United States and as a litigation star in New York, Helen has tried, argued, and litigated cases in federal and state courts throughout the country. She also has been involved in numerous forms of alternative dispute resolution.

In 2022, she was added to the inaugural “Lawdragon 500 Leading Litigators in America” guide. She was also listed in Crain’s 2022 “Notable Women in Sports” and named in LawDragon’s 2021 and 2022 lists of “500 Leading Plaintiff Financial Lawyers in America.”

Helen has extensive experience handling complex antitrust, commercial, and other legal disputes for both plaintiffs and defendants. For over two decades, she has provided strategic business advice to NASCAR, and handled multibillion-dollar litigation on its behalf. Helen has represented the co-founder of AriZona Iced Tea in complex commercial litigation including trials involving contractual, injunctive, and dissolution claims that led to a recovery of nearly $1 billion for the client. Helen has also represented the Cherokee Nation, the Ladies Professional Golf Association (“LPGA”), Goldman Sachs, AngioDynamics, the Dallas Cowboys, HSBC, Breakthru Beverage Group, Barclays, and the State of Kentucky, among others, in litigation and business negotiation contexts.

  • AngioDynamics v. Bard Access, a three-week trial involving antitrust tying claims.

  • Travel Savers Enters., Inc. v. Analog Analytics, a multi-week jury trial involving various contractual claims.

  • Ferolito v. AriZona Beverages USA, a six-week trial regarding the value of the company that makes AriZona Iced Tea, resulting in a recovery of nearly $1 billion for the client
  • JMF Consulting Corp. v. Beverage Marketing USA, a month-long trial that ended in a judgment in favor of the client
  • Mayfield v. NASCAR, a successful motion for judgment on the pleadings dismissing all claims against NASCAR in litigation filed by a driver; the dismissal was affirmed by the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals
  • Kentucky Speedway v. NASCAR, a summary judgment victory in litigation alleging monopolization of stock car racing; the judgment was affirmed by the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals
  • Neri’s Bakery Products v. J. J. Cassone Bakery, a federal antitrust suit in which Helen defeated motions to dismiss and summary judgment and settled the case favorably for the client
  • Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network v. Cablevision Systems Corp., in which Helen represented Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network in antitrust litigation against carriers regarding rights and terms
  • American Airlines v. Imhof, in which Helen,representing Delta Airlines, defeated a preliminary injunction motion involving a former American Airlines employee
