Gabriela Balbín is an associate in Cadwalader’s Global Litigation Group. She represents clients in a variety of matters, including internal investigations, criminal and regulatory enforcement actions, civil litigation, and commercial disputes in state and federal court. She has specialized knowledge in white collar matters with a concentration on finance-related and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) issues. Gabriela is fluent in Spanish.

Gabriela earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center where she was Editor in Chief of the Georgetown Immigration Law Journal and a member of the Global Law Scholars program. Gabriela was a judicial intern for the Honorable Pamela K. Chen of the U.S. District Court for the New York and a legal intern for the Criminal Division, Fraud Section at the Department of Justice. She was also a litigation analyst in the Business and Securities Fraud Section at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York. Gabriela earned her B.A., with distinction in all subjects, from Cornell University.
