Emily Wells focuses her practice on white collar investigations and compliance. She advises clients at all stages of both internal investigations and government enforcement matters, including representing clients in complex enforcement matters before the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as well as other government agencies.
Emily has also practiced in both state and federal court litigation, and has extensive immigration-related pro bono experience representing survivors of human trafficking and violent crime.
Prior to joining the firm, Emily was an associate in the trials and investigations group of another global law firm. During law school, Emily served as a judicial extern for the then-Assistant Presiding Judge of the Superior Court of California, County of San Francisco, Garrett L. Wong.
