Emily Cheatham is an associate in the Capital Markets Group. Emily represents institutional lenders, financial institutions, banks, public and private borrowers and insurance companies, in various types of structured finance transactions, including, but not limited to, repurchase facilities, secured credit facilities, portfolio purchases and sales, forward flow arrangements, note on note financing, subscription facilities, and commercial real estate lending transactions. She has supported the financing of various types of financial assets such as commercial mortgage loans, mezzanine loans, participation interests, securities and consumer solar power loans. With respect to consumer solar power loans, she has worked on several whole loan purchases and sales and a forward flow transaction with these assets.
Emily has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch for her work in Securities/Capital Markets Law in 2024 and 2025.
Emily received her J.D. from University of South Carolina School of Law and her B.A. from University of South Carolina.
