Charles is an Associate in the Fund Finance Group at Cadwalader’s London office.
Charles was previously at a US firm and focused on primary fundraisings, structuring private equity funds, and advising secondary funds-of-funds. Charles has advised various open-ended and closed-ended investment vehicles whilst at the large City firm where he trained. Charles also has experience in advising banks, private credit sponsors, and borrowers on cross-border leveraged finance transactions, private placements, securitisations, and equity financings.
Charles graduated from Trinity College, University of Cambridge with a BA (Hons) in classics and history, where he won the Faculty of Law’s F.W. Maitland Prize for academic excellence. Charles studied the GDL and LPC at BPP University Law School, graduating with a distinction.
Charles is admitted to practice in England and Wales.
