Cathy Lian is an associate in the firm’s Capital Markets Group. She represents investment banks and financial institutions in their roles as issuers, underwriters, placement agents and loan sellers in public and private asset-backed securitization offerings and collateralized loan obligations. In addition, she examines the ERISA aspects of financial products.
Cathy received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and her J.D. from Boston College Law School. Prior to law school, Cathy worked as a corporate paralegal at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP, where she assisted with structured products offerings linked to equities, commodities and currencies.
Cathy is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the District of Columbia. She is fluent in Spanish and Mandarin.
