Carter Lawson is an associate in Cadwalader’s Finance Group. He focuses his practice on commercial real estate finance, primarily representing lenders in the financing of an array of asset classes, including office, retail, hotel, industrial and multi-family housing. Carter has experience with multi-state and multi-property pooled transactions in connection with the origination of mortgage and mezzanine loans as well as the servicing and sale of mortgage loans, participation interests and loan workouts.
Carter received his J.D. from William & Mary Law School, and his B.A. in Music from Washington and Lee University.
