Camillo Di Donato is an associate in the Corporate Group at Cadwalader’s London office. His practice focuses on M&A transactions and general corporate matters, including corporate governance and shareholder activism.
Prior to joining Cadwalader, Camillo practiced as a U.S. debt capital markets lawyer.
Camillo is a graduate of Yale Law School where he obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree. He also received a Ph.D. in corporate law as well as undergraduate and graduate degrees in law from Bocconi University.
Camillo is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
Recent experience include advising:
- Dr. Jonathan Milner, the founder and one of the largest investors in Abcam plc (NASDAQ: ABCM), in his successful effort to call an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders which led the company to announce a review of strategic alternatives;
- Hudson Executive Capital in connection with the appointment of nominees to the board of directors of ViewRay, Inc. (NASDAQ: VRAY);
- M&G Investment Management in connection with a forward purchase agreement formalizing its investment in Gesher I Acquisition Corp. (NASDAQ: GIAC);
- Integrity Implants Inc. (d/b/a Accelus) in its definitive business combination agreement with CHP Merger Corporation (NASDAQ: CHPM); and
- Kingsland Group in connection with a shareholders’ agreement for the plan of reorganization and emergence from bankruptcy of Avianca Holdings S.A. and certain of its subsidiaries (Chapter 11).
