He represents clients through all phases of civil litigation in a broad range of complex commercial disputes, class actions, and government enforcement actions.  Andrew has a diverse practice including antitrust, securities, stockholder disputes and derivative actions, mergers and acquisitions, breach of contract, RICO, and other commercial torts.

Additionally, Andrew maintains a dedicated pro bono practice representing clients in civil rights actions and in defending against International Child Abduction Remedies Act (ICARA) petitions.

Andrew has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2020-2025.

Andrew received his J.D. from Cornell Law School, magna cum laude, is a member of the Order of the Coif, and served as the Senior Notes Editor for the Cornell Law Review.  He received his B.A. in Government from Wesleyan University.  Prior to joining Cadwalader, Andrew practiced at a boutique litigation firm and at Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.

His representations include:

  • Representing Advantage Capital Holdings LLC and its CEO in civil RICO litigation in the Southern District of New York.
  • Represented Robinhood in multidistrict putative class actions alleging antitrust, securities market manipulation, and commercial tort claims arising from the “meme stock” purchasing restrictions in January 2021; secured dismissals with prejudice of the antitrust and state-law “tranches” of actions, which dismissals were each affirmed by the Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
  • Represented The Walt Disney Company in a Section 220 books and records action relating to Disney’s opposition to Florida’s H.B. 1557, colloquially known as the “Don’t Say Gay” law; defeated the demand following a bench trial on a paper record before the Delaware Court of Chancery.
  • Represented Qualcomm in antitrust actions filed by the FTC and Apple relating to Qualcomm’s patent licensing program and its modem chip sales practices; ultimately prevailed before the Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and favorably settled the Apple litigation on the first day of trial.
  • Represented certain Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans in multidistrict class actions alleging antitrust claims relating to the Blue Cross Blue Shield systems’ use of exclusive service areas for member Plans.
  • Represented Avon Products in a putative securities fraud class action relating to disclosures concerning Avon’s Brazil line of business.
  • Represented an award-winning, Sonoma-based craft beer company in a contract dispute with its former distributor; obtained a favorable jury verdict after a three-week trial in the San Francisco Superior Court.

*Certain representations occurred before Andrew joined Cadwalader.
