Alaael-Deen Shilleh is an associate in Cadwalader's Securitization & Asset-Based Finance Practice, focusing on residential, commercial and other asset-backed structured finance transactions. He represents investment banks, financial institutions and other market participants in their roles as issuers, underwriters, placement agents and mortgage loan sellers and servicers in connection with both public and private offerings of collateralized loan obligations, mortgage-backed securities and mortgage servicing rights securitization notes.
In addition, Alaael-Deen has experience in advising and representing clients on the structuring and trading of complex derivatives and structured financial products. He has assisted with the setup and ongoing operation of structured note programs, and counseled on issues arising under the federal and state securities laws and other transactional and regulatory matters related to structured products, derivatives and asset-based finance.
Alaael-Deen received his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School and his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, magna cum laude, from the State University of New York at Purchase. He is admitted to practice in the state of New York.
