Cadwalader partner Chris Dickson was recently interviewed as Law360's 2025 Real Estate MVP.
In the interview, Chris shares what moved him to focus on real estate, advice for young lawyers, and his biggest challenges and accomplishments. The latter focused on his experiences with the financing of The Wharf in Washington, D.C., the largest private real estate financing in the city’s history.
Chris, who led the deal, noted that it was “...pretty neat to get to negotiate that in real time with the business counterparties and try to work through creative solutions,” while navigating potential challenges to the transaction due to Congress still debating the 2025 federal budget bill.
