Cadwalader partner Samantha Hutchinson is included in The Lawyer 2020 Hot 100 list, which recognizes “the most daring, innovative and creative lawyers” from in-house, private practice and the Bar based on their recent work.
Hutchinson advises both financial institutions and private markets managers on the full range of fund finance products across all asset classes, including subscription lines, primary and secondary leverage and liquidity lines, GP and executive financings and co-invest facilities delivered via a number of different structures including framework and umbrella facilities. In the past 12 months, she has advised on more than 50 new fund financings exceeding £15 billion in value. Her representations include several of the largest subscription and leverage deals in the market, including a $2 billion secondary financing for a leading European secondary manager, a $1.5 billion hybrid umbrella facility and a €5 billion subscription line to a leading global primary fund.
