London partner Mark Beardsworth developed and co-ordinated the academic program for the International Association of Young Lawyers’ (AIJA) 58th International Young Lawyers’ Congress. The week-long program, titled “United in Diversity,” was delivered on-line for over 300 participants from 6 continents.
Along with fellow work co-ordinators, Mark judged and awarded the prize for best academic session.
“The sheer energy and enthusiasm of this fantastic group of young lawyers taught us that although we think the legal profession is a leader in diversity and inclusion, we still have much to learn and recognize,” Mark said. “My warmest congratulations to all speakers and participants.”
At the conclusion of the Congress, Mark was awarded the accolade of “Honorary Member” of the Association for his service over many years.
