Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP is now publishing a weekly newsletter specifically aimed at the fund finance industry. Titled Fund Finance Friday, the newsletter will take a deep dive into industry issues and developments and will also cover personnel moves.
“We have felt for quite some time that many important developments in fund finance are not covered in detail by the business press,” said Michael Mascia, a Cadwalader partner in Charlotte and co-chair of the firm’s Finance Group. “Fund Finance Friday will provide an insider’s perspective on important developments in our industry – all in a 10-minute read.”
The inaugural issue surveyed recent developments in a high-profile fund restructuring, took a close look at rights and remedies a lender intends to preserve during a standstill period, and provided an update from Cadwalader’s recent Finance Forum. In addition, the newsletter covered developments and recent personnel changes within the industry.
“We’re hopeful that Fund Finance Friday will become a productive part of fund finance professionals’ weekly routine,” Mascia said.
