Cadwalader is shortlisted for a pair of 2021 International Financial Law Review (IFLR) European Awards.
The firm earned a “Deal of the Year” nomination in the “Structured Finance and Securitisation” category for its representation of MUFG Securities EMEA plc in its groundbreaking North Westerly VI B.V. European cash flow CLO transaction – the first CLO to consider ESG (environmental, social and governance) factors across all its investments. The transatlantic Cadwalader team was led by partners David Quirolo and Claire Puddicombe, and included partners Adam Blakemore, James Frazier, Gregg Jubin and Jason Schwartz; special counsel Catherine Richardson and Adam Risell; and associates Alex Collins, Hugo Chan, Matthew Lefkowitz and Cassandra Nelson-Williams.
Cadwalader is also shortlisted for “Structured Finance and Securitisation Team of the Year” in recognition of the firm’s work across a broad range of products and asset classes. The team advises private equity funds, alternative finance platforms, collateral managers and corporates, in addition to major international financial institutions.
The award winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony on April 29.
