Cadwalader partners Jodi Avergun, Joseph Moreno and Anne Tompkins have authored two chapters in the new edition of GIR Practitioner's Guide to Global Investigations

Jodi Avergun's chapter, “Publicity: The US Perspective,” co-authored with former Cadwalader partner and principal of Northstar Consulting, Brett Campbell, examines restrictions in a criminal investigation or trial, the investigatory and pre-trial stage, trial and post-trial stage, discovery of internal corporate communications and other key issues. Associate Jonathan Bailyn also contributed.

Joseph Moreno and Anne Tompkins’ chapter, “Individual Penalties and Third-Party Rights: The US Perspective,” discusses prosecutorial discretion, principles of federal prosecution, DOJ enforcement priorities and policies, individual accountability for wrongdoing and additional topics. Associate Kendra Wharton also contributed.

Our latest podcast covers the legacy of the “Car Wash” investigation and how Brazil fits into the global landscape of white-collar crime enforcement.
