Cadwalader partners Jodi Avergun, Joseph Moreno and Anne Tompkins have authored two chapters in the new edition of GIR Practitioner's Guide to Global Investigations

Jodi Avergun's chapter, “Publicity: The US Perspective,” co-authored with former Cadwalader partner and principal of Northstar Consulting, Brett Campbell, examines restrictions in a criminal investigation or trial, the investigatory and pre-trial stage, trial and post-trial stage, discovery of internal corporate communications and other key issues. Associate Jonathan Bailyn also contributed. 

Joseph Moreno and Anne Tompkins’ chapter, “Individual Penalties and Third-Party Rights: The US Perspective,” discusses prosecutorial discretion, principles of federal prosecution, DOJ enforcement priorities and policies, individual accountability for wrongdoing and additional topics. Associate Kendra Wharton also contributed.
