Cadwalader Launches Supplier Diversity Program, Open for Registration

January 07, 2022

Cadwalader has established a formal supplier diversity program to help identify new and reinforce existing relationships with businesses that represent a range of historically underrepresented groups.

Eligibility for supplier diversity status will include businesses that are 51% owned, controlled and operated by ethnic minority, women, veteran, differently-abled and/or LGBTQ+ individuals. Interested companies can complete a vendor registration form to be considered for the firm’s supplier database, which will encompass a range of products and services, including administration and operations; library and print services; professional services; construction; marketing and event planning; and technology.

“In continually evaluating and building on the firm’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, we take a comprehensive view of this commitment to create opportunities that will help increase business and economic equality,” said La Tonya Brooks, Cadwalader’s Manager of Diversity and Inclusion. “We look forward to leveraging this new dedicated platform to increase our awareness of and deepen our engagement with diverse businesses that offer the critical services that help enable our firm – and, therefore, our clients – to function each and every day.”

The Cadwalader Center for Diversity and Inclusion (CCDI) is the firm’s organizing body and central resource for its multi-faceted diversity programs, which promotes and supports a culture of inclusion and opportunity both within the firm and its broader communities.
