Junior Financial Analyst

The Junior Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing and summarizing financial data and reports, budgeting, forecasting and profitability.    This role reports to the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis.

 Responsibilities:

  • Participates in the preparation of monthly Practice Group books for review by Senior Leadership
  • Assist in the preparation of the firm’s financial information, including budgeting and forecasting
  • Contribute to department and firmwide ad hoc projects, collaborating with key personnel in various departments, including working directly with Administrative Managers
  • Participate in the development, validation and management of on-going data automation projects
  • Assist with reporting on year-end Partner results

Skills and Experience:

  • Basic knowledge of Excel is required; advanced Excel formulas and data modeling skills are preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment, anticipate requirements, and meet stringent deadlines
  • Organized with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, as well as a team player
  • Ambitious and willing to learn by taking on new and different tasks
  • Undergraduate degree required in Finance and/or Accounting

 

 

 

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $65,000 to $70,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location from which the applicant will be performing the job.
