Cadwalader has been recognized once again as the “Top Underwriter Counsel for U.S. CLOs,” topping the Asset-Backed Alert rankings for 2016.
Last year, Cadwalader’s capital markets lawyers closed 54 CLO transactions as underwriter counsel, valued at $25.8 billion. The firm also ranked fourth in the CLO issuer counsel table and eighth in the ABS/MBS underwriter table.
The firm’s Capital Markets Group is led by partners Michael Gambro and Stuart Goldstein.
“This recognition is an acknowledgment of the depth and experience of our team,” said Goldstein. “The group we’ve assembled offers clients unparalleled market insight and technical knowledge.”
Cadwalader’s capital markets team also was named “Top CLO Arranger Counsel” in the Creditflux Scrolls of Excellence for 2016, and was “highly commended” by the Financial Times, which cited the firm’s role in the first CLO structures to facilitate financings by asset managers under both European and U.S. risk retention rules.
“It’s a privilege to have great clients,” said Gambro. “Our goal, always, is to develop and grow relationships by providing high quality advice and service.”
