For the third consecutive year, the Firm partnered with Bank of America and Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy (CCLA) to host an early summer wills clinic. This year’s clinic took place at CCLA’s offices, where our attorneys worked in pairs to draft essential life planning documents for clients. Special thanks to partner Matt Robertson for his leadership and participation, and to our dedicated volunteers Timothy Cloud, Andrea Hoffer, Ryan Marosy, and Justin Mims for their invaluable contributions.

On April 22, a team from Cadwalader joined more than 300 attendees at the Volunteers of Legal Service (VOLS) New York, Together 2025 Gala—an inspiring evening dedicated to advancing access to justice for all New Yorkers.

Against the backdrop of a stunning New York City skyline, the event highlighted the critical role VOLS plays in providing free civil legal services to underserved communities.

In celebration of Pride Month, Cadwalader hosted a Civil Rights Series program featuring a conversation with Kevin Jennings, Chief Executive Officer, Lambda Legal.

Kevin told the stories of legendary LGBTQ+ activists from the early days to the present, who have fought for freedom during the darkest of days, and from whom the LGBTQ+ community draws its strength.
