Tim Walker is an associate in the Corporate Group of Cadwalader’s New York office. His practice is concentrated in the area of corporate law, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, shareholder activism and defense, corporate finance, securities law and corporate governance. Tim represents clients in a wide range of complex transactional matters including proxy contests, public and private mergers, acquisitions, spinoffs, tender offers and joint ventures.
Tim received his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he was the Symposium Editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Business Law and organized “A Chip Off the Old Block(chain): How Blockchain Technology is Changing Law and Business,” a symposium focusing on cryptocurrencies, the Delaware Blockchain Initiative, smart contracts and blockchain regulation. Before law school, Tim earned his B.A. summa cum laude from High Point University.
