Stefanie Kennedy is an associate in Cadwalader’s Capital Markets Practice, focusing primarily on commercial mortgage-backed and CRE CLO securitization transactions. She represents investment banks and financial institutions in their roles as issuers, underwriters, placement agents and mortgage loan sellers in both public and private offerings of mortgage-backed securities and other structured finance products. She also represents investment banks, specialty finance companies and investment funds in structuring and negotiating commercial mortgage loan sales, mortgage loan participations and co-lender arrangements, as well as subordinate debt and single-asset/single-borrower securitizations.

Stefanie received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she served on the Journal of Corporate, Financial and Commercial Law and competed with the Moot Court Honor Society. She was honored with the Gwen J. Greenberg Graduation Award and also received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Advanced Legal Research. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, from Syracuse University, graduating from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and College of Arts and Sciences with dual majors in Television/Radio/Film and Psychology and a minor in Music Industry.
