Richard Young is based in New York and his practice focuses on fund finance. Rich represents banks and financial institutions as agents, lead arrangers and lenders in structuring, negotiating and documenting subscription credit and capital call facilities, as well as NAV-based, hybrid and other nontraditional facilities for private equity funds.
Prior to joining Cadwalader, Rich spent several years in investment banking at Citigroup. Most recently, he was a Vice President in the Financial Sponsors Group.
Rich received his J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he served as an Editor on the Harvard Business Law Review. He received his B.A., summa cum laude, in political science from Howard University and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Rich is admitted to practice in New York.
