Peter Williams is special counsel in Cadwalader's Capital Markets Group. His practice encompasses a variety of complex financial transactions, with an emphasis on structures that utilize securitization techniques and derivatives. He regularly advises deal arrangers, asset managers, institutional investors and lenders on transactional and regulatory matters in connection with collateralized loan obligations, securities repackagings and other credit-linked products. He also advises financial institution counterparties in connection with derivatives products and has advised institutional clients in connection with insurance-linked products.
Prior to joining Cadwalader, Peter traded a diversified book of technology stocks for Fidelity Investments.
Peter earned his B.A. from the University of Michigan and his J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. He is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
