Michelle Ko is an associate in Cadwalader's Capital Markets Group. She represents investment banks and financial institutions in secured commercial lending transactions, collateralized loan obligations (in their roles as issuers, underwriters, placement agents and institutional investors) and other asset-backed securitizations.
Prior to joining Cadwalader, Michelle practiced with international firms in London, Hong Kong, New York and Sydney, advising on corporate and securities transactions, and also spent time practicing in-house at an asset manager in New York. In addition, Michelle has completed client secondments at two global investment banks.
Michelle received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was a James Kent scholar and served as Notes Editor of the Columbia Journal of Transnational Law. She received an A.B., magna cum laude, from Brown University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Michelle is admitted to practice in the State of New York.
