Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, one of the world’s leading law firms, announced today that members of the firm advised on three of the four deals short-listed as finalists for the Trading Risk Transaction of the Year Award. Trading Risk is a publication that covers the convergence of the insurance and reinsurance industry with the capital markets.
The nominated deals are Parkton Re Ltd, in which Cadwalader acted as transaction counsel (GC Securities, Swiss Re Capital Markets); Blue Fin Ltd (Goldman Sachs & Co), in which Cadwalader acted as underwriter’s counsel, and MultiCat Mexico 2009 Ltd (Swiss Re Capital Markets), in which Cadwalader acted as transaction counsel.
The winners will be announced at the Trading Risk Awards ceremony at the Honourable Artillery Club in London on July 1, 2010.
