Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP (Cadwalader), a leading adviser to global financial institutions and corporations, is again recognised in the Chambers UK guide, with several practices and lawyers noted in the 2014 edition.

The firm’s Capital Markets group is described as “a growing team that stands out for its insurance-linked securities expertise,” and whose “recent recruits add experience in the traditional asset classes of credit cards and automotive leases.” The Restructuring/Insolvency practice is referred to as “a quality team with increasing presence in the market following significant hires, with particular expertise in the high-yield market,” and with “well-established experience of cross-border restructuring work with an emphasis on the USA and Europe.”

In addition, seven attorneys are noted as leading lawyers: Adam Blakemore (Tax), Bruce C. Bloomingdale (Securitisation), Angus Duncan (Structured Finance & Derivatives), Alexis Kay (Restructuring/Insolvency), Richard Nevins (Restructuring/Insolvency), Yushan Ng (Restructuring/Insolvency) and Jeremiah Wagner (Securitisation).

Bruce Bloomingdale is noted for impressing sources with his ability to “negotiate the details of the securitisation but understand what is important from a business perspective," while Angus Duncan “offers substantial securitisation expertise, with experience advising on a range of asset classes, such as hedge fund interest, real estate and trade receivables.” Jeremiah Wagner is recognized for having established himself as “a prominent up-and-coming name in the market,” with “a lot of global experience and regulatory knowledge, which is crucial."

Alexis Kay is described as someone with "a great feel for deals" in the Restructuring/Insolvency area. Richard Nevins has “significant experience in complex, multi-jurisdictional restructurings,” and Yushan Ng is noted as "a commercial, knowledgeable guy who has the ability to get the job done to the highest standard," who is “accomplished at representing distressed investors.”
