Ian Shanks has spent over two decades in private equity as both a lender and equity provider. His experience dates back to building the Bank of Scotland's fund finance business in the early 2000s, and then later selling more than $1.5 billion of PE assets during the financial crisis. Today, Ian leads the fund finance business at Aberdeen Standard Investments.
