In celebration of Pride Month, Kevin Jennings, the CEO of Lambda Legal, joined us to discuss both familiar and hidden stories from the LGBTQ community that paved the way for the freedoms we all too often take for granted. Click here for the video replay.

The Firm also hosted a presentation featuring Peter Tatchell, human rights activist and Director of the Peter Tatchell Foundation in London. Peter discussed his career as an activist, the Hating Peter Tatchell documentary on Netflix, and what’s next for him and the Peter Tatchell Foundation. The documentary follows Peter from his early life to his fight for justice amid controversy and political turmoil.

As part of our Homecoming @Cadwalader programming celebrating our return to the office, Cadwalader employees volunteered to pack 1,000 bags of personal hygiene products to be distributed to clients served by The Campaign Against Hunger (TCAH). As part of a series of pro bono cases seeking reductions of excessive sentences, Cadwalader secured the release of a native of Charlotte who had served almost 21 years of a 58-year sentence he received for crimes he committed when he was just 21 years old.
