Our London office welcomed a group of enthusiastic Year 8 students from Eden Girls School for an engaging and interactive Career Insight Day, held in conjunction with East London Business Alliance (ELBA).

Through interactive discussions and Q&A sessions, students gained valuable insight into the diverse career paths available within a law firm setting. We were proud to showcase the collaborative spirit and expertise that drive our Firm, and we hope the visit sparked inspiration and curiosity in these future professionals.

Our Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) led impactful programming across all offices in celebration of Women’s History Month.

In London, the WLI successfully raised funds for period products, supporting Sebby’s Corner and Redriff Primary School.

A highlight of our Earth Day activities is the annual Earth Day Photo Contest, open to all Cadwalader employees and their immediate family members. Photos submitted capture and celebrate the beauty of our planet and all its wonders.

These photos serve as a meaningful reminder of the role we each play in protecting our environment.

The Firm was proud to participate in a virtual Credit Repair Clinic, a collaboration with the Pro Bono Institute (PBI), Barclays and other partner organizations, in celebration of Financial Institution Pro Bono Day. This important initiative helps survivors of human trafficking exercise their rights under the Federal Debt Bondage Repair Act (DBRA), which require credit reporting agencies to block adverse information that resulted from trafficking.

In celebration of Pride Month, Cadwalader hosted a Civil Rights Series program featuring a discussion with Joshua Block, lead counsel in the Supreme Court case West Virginia v. B.P.J., on the fight over transgender rights in school sports and more. Joshua is Senior Counsel with the ACLU’s LGBTQ & HIV Projects.

Thank you to the Cadwalader LGBTQ+ Network leaders for their work in organizing activities throughout the month.
